1996 mustang 111,000 miles all stock except cold air intake exhaust and headlights. Headlights-$300 Intake-$200 exhaust-$100 racing seats-$400 wheels-$1000 all together i put in $2000 whould this be a good deal or what???

Look in www.nada.com the price guide has the convertible worth a few grand more, but not if you give up 700 and then put 2 grand into it, you are upside down price wise right there.for the 96,plus you will not like that stock suspension and what about the clutch? the best way to keep your clutch as long lasting as possible is for only one person to drive the car. (does this mean a clutch will not go 90,000 miles if two people drive? no it lasts longer if one person uses it correctly) a convertible may be nice for summer, but to be honest, you know what you have in your mustang, and you are better off saving the almost three grand and buy a newer convertible if that is what you really want, and soft tops are easy to break into, just need a sharp knife, and a lot colder in winter.

Jeep dodge lift kit conv.?

Hello, i am looking to pick up a lift for my 1994 jeep yj and was wondering if a dodge lift would fit it. I dont yet know the brand or year of dodge model lift kit and can post when obtained.

No it will not fit. Even if the length of the springs were the same (measured from eye to eye), the springs would be too "hard" for the jeep. It would ride like a horse and buggy. I would suggest buying a lift. It is the safest way to go. It is possible to do a spring over, but you will need to be very experienced with suspensions and jeeps to get it to be SAFE and road worthy. If the lift is a body lift, anything over an inch and a half or two inches is unsafe. Good luck.
