Day Back

How was your first day back to work as a Mom?

Did you cry? When did it get better? Tomorrow will be my first day back and I'm dreading it!! What things did you do to make it easier? Did your baby seem different after being in the care of another for a long period of time?

Bring the kleenex. I made it out of the infant room at the daycare and broke down, They hugged me. I stopped by there twice that day and once a day for two weeks to check in on her.

You will cry, the first day is the worst and it does get better. My boss tried to send me home. I said "No, I can do this. Because I knew if it wasnt today it would be tomorrow. I had to be strong.

You are doing what is best for your child and you. Just be strong, know we go through it and if you need to call a friend or family memeber to cry to. Heck sign on here and email me if you want.

Just know it gets better. My daughter had to go at 10 weeks and she is now 19 months. I now can watch her on a web cam, so that helps. but, until 9 months old I couldnt she was at a diff daycare. I stopped by all the time though and called.

My daughter did not seem different at all. Things will be the same which is good.

TO make it better for me, I carried a pacifier in my pocket, that may seem lame, but, it helped me hold onto her. I have a locket with her pic in it too. Talking to other working moms also helped. Getting to know the people at the daycare is good.

I try and buy them donuts and stuff to make sure they think of me and my daughter in a positive way, Lol. That is bad, but, I cant help it.

How should I do my hair for the first day back at school?

I have shoulder length brown hair. But im going to get it trimmed and layered with hair over my right eye and the tips of my hair are going to get dyed black so should I just leave regular or actually do something with my new hair for the first day back at school.

Leave it regular! Hair always looks adorable after the cut, and I'm sure yours will, too!
