Panel Marker

What could be the cause of my instrument lights flickering and going out?

This problem is happening in a BIG truck...Freightliner Columbia...The dash lights flicker (Bright/Dim) and then go out. "Clicking" at the fuse panel as the lights flicker. Only the Instrument lights....Headlights, marker lights ect...All stay on with no problems. When I switch the lights off and then turn them on again...The process repeats itself. The headlight/markerlight switch was replaced a week ago, so it's brand new and HAD been working fine up until now. Thanks-

a fuse may be lose so try looking for that and the alternator may need attention

How do you remove permannent marker ink from plastic panel on a car without messing up my cars paint job?

I've tried alcohol already and it hasnt worked.

did you try hairspray? The aerosol kind... Do a tiny spot first though...

also the mr clean eraser pad thingies, they might work too. They do take permanent ink out.

One other thing to try, if I remember correctly, could be toothpaste (the white, old fashioned kind, not the new stuff) BUT if I also remember, that might mess up your car's paint so try that in a little spot first.
