how to install pot lights on the first floor of 2 story house?

I like to install pot lights in the living room that is in the first floor of 2 story house. How I can detect the beams in the sealing and put the wires on.

I don't like to discourage people from doing this themselves but have to make an exception here. An electrician is far better suited for this task , for one he has experience fishing wires through walls with minimal damage and he can figure out the draw on the circuit you plan on tapping into. If the draw is too big it will require a lead run from your breaker box. He can also advise you on the type of pot lights that you should use as they are not all the same. Failure to have proper pot lights and an over loaded circuit could lead to a fire hazard that would take the fun out of your home improvement project. It really is a deadly risk and I hope you take my advise. Hope this helps and good luck

Is it possible to trap a light beam?

Lets say, for example, that there was a theoretical device consisting of a tube that has a mirror for an inside surface, and that light was shined in through one end of this tube, and that the tube was then sealed very quickly. The tube is completely solid, there are no weaknesses, and no way the light can escape. Would the beam of light constantly reflect from one end of the tube to the other for infinity?

Please remember that this is all theoretical.

In theory yes, but the reflection is never 100% efficient, a small part of the light beam is absorbed and another is transmitted, so there are always losses.
Light trapping is currently achieved in optical fibers, but the reason is different (total internal reflection). However, there are also losses in this case
