whats wrong with my wireless adaptor?
Hello, i've purchased the xbox360 wireless adaptor. when i go to edit settings, I can't go into wireless mode.i got all the settings right and i have my router on and DSL on but i don't understand why it wont work. Also, when i try to test it to xbox LIVE, it says the network adapter is disconnected, and its plugged in!!!i really need help on this product.

Could be broken get it replaced or tested at the shop you bought it from.

how do i get my belkin wireless g usb network adaptor to work for xbox 360 live?
I have a belkin high speed mode wireless g usb network adapter and whenever i plug it in my 360 the light comes on but when i test connection it says it aint wired. I already have xbox live account (because i used my mums laptop but now i cant) so do i need set up a new one?
I just plugged mine straight into the "main box" thingy downstairs and it worked.
I dont think it works as a wireless thing, but i dont know.
Mines Belkin N all.

that adapter won't work with the 360s. the only adapters that work are the Microsoft branded ones. there is a wireless G one -> and a wireless N one -> [the prices are a little inflated as its from xbox.com].
the 360s are programmed to only work with Microsoft Xbox 360 accesories. yes, it is very annoying.
the reason the test passes is because your adapter will communicate with the router but when your signed in to your XBL profile it will disregard the non-microsoft adapter.
